I rarely--if ever--wear high heels because my ankles pop when I walk in them. (not to mention my fear of heights and falling)
[and thus ensues a series of posts for the easily excitable and in hopes to disspell and/or confirm rumors regarding my state of mind.]

6 Reflections:
The most hilarious thing ever:
The girls who go to my college who aren't use to long, snowy winters. They wear stiletto high-heels IN THE SNOW, THROUGH THE MUD, and ACROSS THE ICE. It's like watching a bunch of flamingos wade through jello.
Oooh I agree! :) I have always pictured myself falling down stairs and breaking a limb, then going to the doctor and having to answer his"What happened!" by saying, "I tripped over my high heel.."
Christin
I don't wear high heels either, mostly 'cause I don't care for feeling that tipsy on purpose, and then again it maybe because it makes an already tall person taller. ;)
I don't wear heels. Mostly because my hubby is only an inch or two taller than me, and I get a tall-woman complex when I'm taller than him. And I'm all of 5 foot 5 inches, so I can't even claim being tall. But it's so taboo for women to be taller than their men. And men don't even care! That's right, men.don't.care.
I don't wear them because I'm 5'9. I don't want to be any taller than I already am. (Plus my husband is 5'11, so I'd have the same issue as LeAnna.)
Kendra! LOL!
Christin, exactly. I'm not graceful enough. Some girls really have it down tho.
Melinda, LeAnna, and Anna,
I'm with you. I'm 5'9" and don't care to be taller. When I said fear of heights, I only meant extreme heights. ;)No hubby yet to compare with, but I hear ya!
oh, and interesting topic-- maybe I should do a poll on women vs. men's thoughts on height and marriage :)
